Retiree Grant Application
The Clergy Support Team has created a grant application to be used by those retirees who are unable to obtain supplemental insurance coverage within the $225 stipend amount.  It is also available to those retirees who will reach the “doughnut hole” in prescription drug coverage and need assistance with the expenses incurred through that span. Maximum amount of funds available will be 50% of prescription expenses up to $2250. This grant would only be available to those retirees who were on the Conference health insurance plan until 12/31/08.

A subcommittee of the Clergy Support Team will review the applications and work through the approval process. Retirees applying for this application will be required to provide documentation addressing the need for the grant. The documentation required is outlined on the application form.

This grant would be available for 2009 expenses only and income received from the grant would need to be reported as taxable income.

You may also request an application by calling Brenda or Bridget at the Conference office at 877-736-1806.
