Re: Announcing “Lay Speakers Preach,” Combination Online and Face-to-Face (FTF) hosted by the Mid-State District. Certification Credit provided. Register by 9/5/2009. Please register early. Spaces are limited.
The Mid-State District is seeking Lay Speakers to participate in a fresh concept in Advanced Lay Speaking courses. We’ve designed the first three sessions to be done online, mostly at your pace; and the last three sessions, including delivery of your prepared sermon, in a face-to-face setting led by your district or conference instructor.
Previous courses conducted this way have received very favorable comments. The format allows additional preparation and learning time, and avoids multiple weekends with travel and other conflicts. The District Face-to-Face (FTF) class will be held 11/14/2009. You must attend the FTF session to complete the course.
Certification credit will be provided for the course. Cost will be $25.00 including the text. The meal at your FTF session will be additional. Send $25.00 to Dala Dunn, 3801 Amon Ct, Columbia, MO 65202.
